Supramolecular chemistry | Molecular machines | Membrane transport | Chemical biology | Water purification The work of Professor Pinaki Talukdar focuses on developing novel supramolecular systems for chemical biology and material science applications. By leveraging noncovalent interactions, he is able to construct supramolecular structures that can be used for ion transport, water transport, molecular recognition, etc. Diverse applications of supramolecular systems are being investigated, including therapeutic agents, reverse osmosis membranes, supramolecular polymers, and others.
